AcrylicHorizon here! This page contains some stuff about things i've created over the past years, I hope some of it can interest you.
Over the past 3 years i've been developing on platforms such as unity and unreal engine in an attempt to make interesting and weird experiences around funny ideas i've had.
"What if we made a multiplayer game with mosquitoes, and one player controls some guy trying to get rid of them?"
"We've never seen a side hopping shmup yet, have we?"...
Those are all the things i think about, some of these projects take weeks, other months, and as of today the biggest one I've been working on is Crazy Blast, a 3D Platformer where your character has to explode to jump!
If you want to check what I make in more details, please take a look at my Itch.io page!
Where to begin with this one... I feel like i've been writing for as long as I can remember! I like to center my worlds around one core idea and decide how people have been living with it. I usually go back on what I make and feel like it could be made better, so I often find myself rewriting the parts I do not like to fit my ideas.
I've thought about two worlds mainly, here they are :
SPR-01: I had with someone dear to me dreamed about people living on the side of a gigantic wall belonging to a derelict megastructure, empty corridors and offices staying hidden beneath the dust of an ancient conflict that everyone forgort about, and cities built upon enormous crane hanging above the clouds, above the unfathomable void below.
They adapted via the construction of "Concrete-Core" technology, as the act of climbing is everything their civilisations adapted around. You may find yourself face to face with someone wielding a rebar crossbow, or someone fighting with a concrete block held by a flexible cable, like it's a mass of sorts
Coloryss: A Canvas painted on it's front and back side shines it's colors in a black void, put here by the hands of the holy Painters above. Then, it was called Coloryss, and it's sides were named Vice and Versa
A being made of Ink roams upon it's lands, mastering a type of magic named Chromancy, the power to manipulate the paint around him and thus, to mix elements together. On his journey across the fallen kingdom of the Versa he discovers forgotten lands made with acrylic tints and rivers formed into watercolor pieces.
He discovers a ploy drawn by the Scarlet Guard of the Twilight King, an ancient tyrant. This plan will plunge the now ruined Versa in an even worse state... All to take power again and opress the Canvas anew.
In this world, he will meet countless people and cultures which evolved around Chromancy, seeing fountain pens the size of a sword, and keeping vials of paint around his belt.
